Gerardo, you were many things in this life: a devoted son, a present husband, a loving father, an unconditional grandfather, a respectful brother, a loyal uncle, a wise advisor, a companion in battles, an angel in the lives of many people, always at the service of those in need.
Gerardo was born in a very humble environment in Finca Cartago in the Osa canton; he was the seventh of nine siblings. His parents were Don Fabio Cabezas Quesada (R.I.P.) and Doña Oliva Solís Araya (R.I.P.). He attended primary school at the Coto 54-55 school in Corredores. He got his high school diploma at Colegio Nocturno in Ciudad Nelly, Corredores.
He worked in various companies such as Palma Tica, Ston Forestal, Proforca as a security guard. He was known as a responsible employee, an excellent coworker with a positive attitude, and a strong sense of punctuality.
At home, he was a loving husband, a caring father, an unconditionally-present grandpa in the lives of his grandchildren, a respectful brother, an advisor, always there despite the distance, and a kind and beloved uncle.
He was always a man full of faith and trust in God, believing that God provides in times of need and never forsakes. His faith and spirituality will accompany us for the rest of our lives, always hearing him in our hearts saying “Blessed God” in moments of joy and adversity.
His dream was always to keep the family united; now it is up to us to continue with his goal. No matter the distance, communication and love must abide between us.
We thank God for allowing us to share this brief period on Earth with you and pray for the joy of being reunited in eternity.
Blessed God!!!!
